economy:
First, Forbes Magazine ranks Colorado Springs
#7 in it’s top ten cities where home prices are likely to
start rising in 2009. Our local economy is expected to
experience 2% growth and 1.6% average annual job
growth. This means more in-migration and more money in the
economy, factors that point to the fact that we may be near the

Second, mortgage rates have plunged
below 6% for the first time in a couple of years. Combining

applications are up 18% in the past month according to The
