From our Hearts - The Real Reason
Tears came to my eyes as I reflected on the many reasons that people interfaced with us at The Roshek Group this
last year. Over the last 26 years, the usual reasons have been the birth of a new baby, a new marriage, a new job, a job
promotion, expansion of a business, the building of a dream home or retirement. This year the
reasons included the death of many dreams; the loss of a job, a cut in pay, 30% lost retirement income, foreclosure, divorce, loss of a
business, death of a family member, severe health issues and bankruptcy.
Each of us at The Roshek Group considers it a privilege to help our clients and friends with the bumps in
life. While we can’t always “fix” the issues, we can come alongside and walk with you.
Several thoughts come to mind as we approach this Christmas. First and
foremost, God, the Author of Creation, sent us Hope in the form of a Baby. God reminds us through the celebration of the birth of
His Son that we are not alone, and regardless of the circumstances in which we find ourselves, He is our only real hope - Jesus is the Real Reason for
the Season.
God is always ready to guide us to a new path in life, if only we ask. We are grateful to Him
that each day can be a new day, and that He brings us people with whom we can laugh and
cry.
This year we hope your Christmas is more than merry. Our hope for you is that you will determine
to take time away from shopping lines to be with your friends and your family. We hope that God will provide you with someone
(someone whose year has been even rougher than yours) whom you can touch deeply and be available for - to share something of yourself with and to love
unconditionally.
For those of you who have been so deeply affected by life’s difficult circumstances this year, we wish for
you the real and only Peace that can be had through God’s deep love for you.
This year, let Jesus be...the Real Reason for the Season.
